RENOWNED GUITARIST MAKES GUEST APPEARANCE AT ERAKOR ISLAND RESORT

            BILLY LANG is guitarist extraordinaire who has played with the likes of Boney M, Roseanne Cash, and the immortal James Morrison, since the English Rock Scene in the ‘70s, when he left his humble New Zealand for the bright lights of London at the age of 16.  His enduring musical career has taken him around Europe and many countries of the world playing such diverse styles as Classic, Jazz, Pop/Rock, and Blues, with not just pop artists, but the Munich and Auckland Philharmonic and Tokyo Symphony as well.  His most noted coup has been playing in recording sessions with Joe Cocker for his album, “No Ordinary World”, where Billy features in 3 tracks, including the Title Track.

            No ordinary man, Billy launched himself into a parallel career pursuing his second love – Flying.  Not small private planes, but Jumbo Jets!  Your life may have been in his hands, if you’ve flown in an Air New Zealand 767 Jumbo Jet, as he is a First Officer with over 10,000 flying hours.

            Billy has had a long time love affair with Bora Bora, where he’s been working on his own feature album, but now he’s also discovered Vanuatu.  He believes Vanuatu is the next up and coming South Pacific destination.

            “Troy (owner of Erakor Island Resort) heard me play and immediately invited me to be a guest artist”, smiles Billy, “John Blacket, the GM and I worked out the details and here I am!”
